Las Cruces
will be transformed by the presence and the glory of God working through
the Body of Christ.

Statement of Purpose
The Las Cruces Prayer Network, under the
Governance of Board of Directors and officers, shall manage the
corporation:
Serving the needs of
Church Leaders:
To provide opportunities for spiritual growth,
encouragement, confidence, learning and envisioning the Kingdom of
God for the
purpose of strengthening the Body of Christ (Colossians
2:2; Romans 1:12).
Encouraging Biblical Unity:
To encourage Biblical unity for building, restoring, and nurturing relationships
among Christian leaders (Romans 15:5; Ephesians 4:2).
Encouraging Concerted
Prayer:
To encourage prayer over
the "Gates" of the city to
bring His presence, an awakening, revival, reconciliation,
transformation, and evangelization (Romans 5:6; Isaiah 44:3; Psalm 85:6; Hebrews 3:2; Acts 3:9; 2
Chronicles 7:14; Psalm 2:8 ).
Community Transformation:
To encourage
cooperation and partnering within the community to affect
worldwide evangelization (Ephesians 4:16; Philippians 1:27-28;
Psalm 2:8 ).

Statement of Faith
We believe in:
-
The higher priority to the
leadership of Jesus Christ
and obedience to the Word of God (Bible).
-
Modeling Biblical unity through the ministry of reconciliation.
-
Honoring and serving local church
leaders in a spirit of humility and intercession.
-
Maintaining the highest level of integrity, Christian ethics and
excellence in Christian ministry by a commitment of accountability
to God and those who financially support this ministry.

Founder

The Las Cruces Prayer Network (LCPN) was
envisioned by Fred Schultz, Executive Director. In 2002,
monthly city-wide prayer gatherings of the local corporate Body of
Christ met to pray for the church, government, education, families,
business, media/arts, and the Southwest region. Prophetically, the
Holy Spirit has orchestrated through faithful "prayer
warriors" an unprecedented prayer movement in this city.
By 2004, the Las Cruces Prayer Center opened to
the local community as a place of prayer, prayer training, and as a
resource center. In May of 2007
the Las Cruces Prayer Network moved to a new location 1115 Commerce
Dr. Suite #3. Our phone numbers, website and email are all the
same. Our new location will better serve the mission and
vision the Lord has given us.
Friday,
September 28, 2007, the visionary for LCPN, Fred Schultz passed
away. A celebration service was held on October 4, 2007. LCPN will
not be able to
replace the passionate
leadership that Fred felt for our community. Fred was a great
blessing and friend to us. Our faithful, dedicated brother and
ministry partner will be missed. The Board of Directors is currently
seeking an Executive Director to continue the ministry of prayer.
